Evolving a Legend Without Losing Its Soul

I led the industrial design for the G502 LIGHTSPEED, tasked with a high-stakes challenge: modernize one of Logitech G’s most iconic mice with wireless technology while preserving everything users loved about it.
The original G502 had a devoted following—thanks to its distinctive form, weight tuning system, and performance feel. My role was to lead the redesign that introduced wireless connectivity and compatibility with our POWERPLAY wireless charging system, all without compromising the shape, balance, or tactile feedback.
It required deep collaboration across engineering and product teams to reengineer the internals while keeping the legendary silhouette intact. The result: a future-ready G502 that feels instantly familiar in the hand—only lighter, faster, and endlessly powered.
